I dont know if you know but Shred was being sarcastic and had white text after it. BUt anyways this bike is awesome and at 9.9kgs thats a good effort. I not a fan of your weight saving seat though.

I rode the fork for over a year and it works really fine. The weight is only 1600 grams (with a short shaft cause of integrated headset). The only problem was the travelkit by Rock Shox, I had to build my own kit (Link (http://ridelite.blogspot.com/2007/06/die-offenbarung.html)), but now it's really strong!

Do u know how heavy the frame and tires are?

The frame is 2500 grams, the tires are around about 500 grams each (they are used a lot, so they're lighter ;) ). One of the secrets to make this bike lite, is the crank, complete with bottom bracket and all bolts it's only 817 grams!

Thanks to all!

Cool. Been waiting for someone to built a superlight Mob. This thing would be so flickable. Nice work on the unique colour scheme too, love it.

So the Schwalbe's are only ~500g an end? They are 2.25 width, yeah? Hmm me thinks i need to change out my bulky 2.4 Hollyrollers (865g each!) on my NSSub for a pair of these. Definitely would feel the difference!

Just one complaint tho ...surely you've got more pics? Come on!

A smaller rotor isn't possible cause I ride in bikeparks a lot, the rotor will get to hot.

lightest Blk Mrkt's out there, well done my german friend:D How do you
find the Schwalbes compared to other tires?

Pesling
04-12-2007, 03:57 PM
I think it's actually the best tire with a big spectrum, you can ride dirt, street, 4x, a little bit auf freeride...great tire!

yeah not saying its bad mate just asking how the road hub goes. (how it handles street and dj) as i would think they would be taking alot more abuse than what they were if they were used for road riding.

yall mean?

and mitch

if your smooth then it would be ok but it aint 20mm thru axle anyway.

i don't want one. simpy just asking how they perform.

Cool to see the revelations being used, I guess I am game to try a QR fork on my STP now. I love the build, nothing heavier or more overbuilt than it has to be, but everything is as strong as it needs to be. How all bikes should be built.

Hey man! That's a nice ride.

How hard do you ride on that bike? I'm asking this because I've been thinking about buying the same rims but I'm a bit woried that they will buckel or brake. Do you have any clips of you riding so that I can compare the riding between us becuase I wouldn't like to pay for something that will brake :)

Thanks

Such a sweet bike. You have the nicest and lightest spec.

brettyG
29-03-2008, 06:20 PM
Very nice, weighs alot less than alotta BMX's these days. An if ya want to shave a little more off, go for the lightest 24" tubes you can find, they fit onto 26" rims with very little trouble (not none, of course), and will keep away the rotational mass. And hell, you could even get a flatland sprocket with a smaller driver and a set of the newer plastic pedals for even more of an anorexic rig!
