what does sp mean

i feel like a real toss asking this but i see in a lot of posts that people put the letter sp after saying something and i dont know what it means...could someone please tell me?:o

Ha ha, yeah I thought it meant speculative, in that people weren't sure if it was fact and were just speculating on something. But it didn't always make sense so I figured it may have meant something else. It wasn't important enough to worry about asking or doing a search.

(sp) to me means;

1) I couldn't be arsed finding my dictionary,

2) I really couldn't be fragged opening a browser to www.dictionary.com,

3) I couldnt even be bothered typing the word into google,

4) This is as good as you're going to get from me


Just use google, get the word as close as it looks to you and hit enter, guess what happens?
