g'day,

just discovered the vw baja and thought that it is pretty dam awesome. i no that they are pretty rare, but if any if you have one, then post it up so we can have a look.
any discussion about the VW Baja's will be interesting too.
anyone with an older vdub can post it up too, why not.

The guy who owns the local spray paint booth up here has a VW manx buggy which i think is based on the Baja.
It'll do wheel stands in first and second with a modifided little dak dak engine as there is so little weight over the front end. this also means it handles like crap on the street, i wouldn't call it understeer as the wheels doing the steering don't really want to be on the ground.

out on the sand it's hella fun, long suspension tavel and light weigh helps it float over the rough stuff.

like a quad bike, i wouldn't own one, but there heaps fun to borrow ever now and then.

Mate u gota be careful with Baja bigs becuz the rego is very hard to get now... If u want to buy one make sure its all ready rego'd to save u a lot of f@#Kin' around... Trust me it will save a lot od sweet and tears :confused:
