Did anyone else manage to catch the Rage Against The Machine special that was on Ch10 at midnight? Was watching a live version of Bombtrack and noticed that bassist was banging it out wearing a black Intense Cycles tshirt- WTF? Frickin' sweet!!
Bring on their January tour. Can't wait to be amongst the thick of the pit to those guys again.
Anyhoo, that was my random bike-spot!
was watching it, but didn't notice the intense shirt.
good on them for making a comeback.

I didn't see it, I was at my Formal afterparty, off my face, moshing by myself to Bulls on Parade about that time though...

You call yourself a rage fan and you dont know that Tim C is a Freerider?
Read the liner notes of Battle Of Los Angeles, he thanks all of his bikes individually.

Pretty sure he rides an Intense. He does a few drops in one of the audioslave film clips as well.
There's a pretty funny bit where he's on a rock with no run in, so a big guy who looks like he might be a security guard is holding him up as he gets his balance to drop of it.

Hahaha...man I was a RATM fan well before I was a mtber, so no, it didn't occur to me that there was an underlying correlation between the two. Tickets to the BDO was a present to myself for my 16th birthday in 95' solely so I could see RATM- it changed my life more so than Rage's music already had:D. Wagged and disappeared from my boarding school camp and jumped on a bus to travel 4hrs away just so I could see it. Upon my return from the most ultimate weekend of my life (at that stage) I was promptly suspended for the first 2 weeks of the school year, was dumped as captain of my school's first XV rugby union team, and was given 4 consecutive weekends of total detention. And you no what, if I'd known I was going to get that much of a reaming from my school, I'd still have said FUCK IT, flipped my school the bird, told them to suck my sweaty balls and gone to the gig :D. Been fortunate enough to see them on 4 other occasions on my travels around the world and as gay as it may sound, a part of me wanted to almost turn emo-esque the day they announced they were calling it quits. More so than when Soundgarden and Faith No More called it a day. Wish you hadn't mentioned Battle of Los Angeles either because it's the worst album they produced and I've still struggled to forgive them for making it:(.
So yeah am a real fucking fan of RATM, and no, FREERIDING IS NOT A SPORT! FREERIDING'S for those that suck at racing!

thanks! Tim is a bit of an idol of mine as far as his playing goes. Great to hear how he gets a bit of inspiration.
