Was waiting for somone to ask, I shal write one up now. It just rides nuts, I cant even explain it. It rails hard out, drifts so well while I still have full control, I was scared to hit the rock garden today because of my ankle, but fuck! Its soooo smooth and just shoots over it, its perfectly leveled over jump/drops and is very responsive and flicky. My guess on weight would be the 18kg mark. It has a 2.7 front tire (yuck) so I'm getting a 2.5, light tubes, e13 lg1 (same colour green as the decals too! And a new cassette. I havnt had too many issues with the low BB but I did clip the pedals a few times today.

Soooooo good dude... It's so smooth! I was astonished from the way it rode over the rough sections. Not to mention I can easily pedal up hills on it!
I had it weighed too, 19.2kg...
I don’t really give a flying bat shit, I’m 6'3 and fairly heavy so i have no trouble throwing it around. In fact, i throw it around nicely for its weight, but seriously, it has a bomb proof build... I would take strength/performance over weight any day!
And to people whinging about the low BB, wtf????
I have only hit my pedals around 3 times, but that was my own stupid fault and would have happened on any bike. I have not had one problem..
It just adds to the berm eatingness.. :D
You can ride it sat Nick!
Sundays, just.. Well, make you want to take your clothes off. ;)

I think if you did want shave weight, new Rims and cassette, other than that, without resorting to drilling holes in the frame, and only putting 3 rotor bolts in, instead of 6 (Idiots do that) your bike is .
Hope I can come Saturday, should be able to, have to go at like 1 but, we are going out at 3.

In actual fact the mtx's are only a few grams heavier then 721's dude. Unless you want me to get XC rims...
After riding a bit with the cassette on it now, its not too bad. I can get up hills fairly easy which is good. The main thing would be the chainguide, saint components, front tire and tube.

Yeh, change the tyres and tubes sometime, but it really doesn't matter, but I don't think you need a 2.7, do you?
You can have my Mavic XC rims, one of the lightest rims you can get. :D
So hope I can come out Saturday, if not, I will find a time over the long weekend, will ride there is necessary.

AWESOME BIKE MATE!!!!! i love it
What scale was it weighed on? I'd have guessed under 19 (even if only a little) for that build on that frame. Might be worth trying it on something else, but digital hanging scales are pretty accurate if that's what you already tried.
Quick tip, running a 36T e13 guide or even just the bashguard will save you some weight and give you some much needed ground clearance. The latter is pretty important on the sunday IMO.

Thanks for that udi. I was contemplating getting a lighter chainguide, gamut or an lg1 but I’m not sure. I need a chainguide for my hardtail so i guess its a good excuse to chuck the srs on that and get the sunday something lighter. I was fairly surprised on the weight too. They were digital scales..
Keep in mind it does have dh tubes and a 2.7 front tire. :(
As I've said above, I havnt had problems at all with the low BB. Coming from a norco too. I have clipped the pedals a few times but nothing serious.
Thanks for the comments everyone.
