well i usualy ride dirt with my mtb but lately a few of my friends having been seriously getting into bmx's and the skate park scene. anyway since thats a few less friends i have to ride dirt with i decided to get out my crappy old bmx and give skate parks a shot. long story short, i've been having a blast. so now im looking at getting a proper bmx for skateparks and street. currently im looking at the Norco Nail and the Haro X3. i think both bikes would suit my purposes and the people ive talked to about it have agreed; so now im turning to the good people of farkin to help me choose between the two or to recommend something else if all those people i talked to are actually dirty liars :D
P.S. take into consideration the fact that i will ultimately end up riding dirt as well as skateparks with my new bmx as i just find that substance so alluring. the resaon i picked these bikes is that they are supposed to be good all round and smooth despite the surface.

If you want something a bit different try the Forgotten Misguided. I think it's $519 and it's a new aussie company.

kk well my price range has jumped up again lol (whats an extra $100 anyway?), now im looking at the specialized fuse 3 for $600. it s got 100% cromo frame, cromo forks, cromo bar (620mm wide, 195mm rise), its got all the cromo u were looking for. i have all its specs if any1 wants them but honestly i can't be bothered to write em down :P anyway now that im seriously looking at this bmx i was wondering what people think about it specificaly, so if people can just shout out their opinions on the bike thatd be nice.
P.S. heres the link to the fuse 3's page of the specialized web site, from there u can see the bikes geometry, specs, paintjob whatever u need to know should be on there so if u really want to check the bike out just check the link.

for $600 you should definitely start looking at more bmx-specifc brands, such as fit or eastern. you can find some good deals for that much.

Whereabouts is the X3 $500? What year model? Best I could find was $539.
Another one to look at is the GT Fueler
