Item: avanti D8
Location:bris
Item Condition:average
Reason for selling:want to get my "porter" up and running
Price and price conditions:offerswould swap for a solid hardtail in bris only
Extra Info:this bike is up and running, only has a crap non disc wheel at rear atm, have hydro brakes with no rotors to go with it. This bike has been used as a daily ride as I have no other bike. I have been very suprised at how easy it is to pedal considering it is only ss atm. I have ridden this from taringa to woodridge and back and have survived, about 40 kms(not advised if you are not fit or strong)post your ride has a basic breakdown on what this cost to build
Pictures: look at post your ridehttp://forums.farkin.net/photo/data/500/th_porter028.jpg http://forums.farkin.net/photo/data/500/th_porter027.jpgframe/forks/cranks(alivio)$350

to the person who wanted to buy the frame I am not splitting. Why would I want to pull apart something I have just finished building, to me that would be rather silly. buy the whole thing, I would be suprised if you could build this up for as cheap as i am selling it for

What size stroke is the shock?

2.25 or 2.75?

And is the back half of the linkage stock or different? Looks like steel?

From the looks of your build, it would probably take less than 30 minutes to pull apart. Not exactly silly. I suppose it depends on whether you want a sale or not.:)

ok so it turns out that I will sell the fork, I would really like to swap the fork for a set of qr wheels with rotors/cassette(pref 8 speed) or ss, 24" or 26" fine, hopefully some cable or hydro discs, swap in bris only or for sale $250+ post
