Hey guys, i have another problem..

Either my cranks or BB are making a clicking sound when i ride. When i pedal lightly, it doesn't make a sound. If i crank it or pedal with pressure, it starts making a weird clicking sound and it's coming from my BB.

I was forced to ride in the rain 2 days ago, got my bike drenched, may that be the problem? It's a WTP Trust btw.

Please help me, i'm getting mad as my bike is new and already things are going wrong.

Cheers and thank you if you can help.

The clicking sound might be from a square ball bearing....Even though it's new, it might be something compeletly different.

It is common for new 3pc cranks to come loose after a while, just tighten the allen keys bolts on the crank arms and it should go away

it could be your chain?

I've tightened the cranks and it still happens, just not as often or as loud when i crank it. I've also lubed my chain so it definately has nothing to do with that.

Take the cranks off, Clean everything off the spindle, Put grease on the spindle, Put cranks back on.

could be crushed bearings, i know its a new bike but it happened to mine the second day i had it, and the lazy asshole at the bike shop wouldnt do anything about it.
so i got new bearings and it was good as new (btw it was a spanish bb so yes it was sealed)

Problem solved.

I took my cranks off, removed the awful, cheapass grease ( swiped some on my finger, ran it under a tap and it all dissolved.. )

I cleaned the spindle and noticed bearing wears on it, which was making the sound, so i completely regreased it. No more sound, only from my chain, which i can't find the right oil for ^^.

Thanks guys.
