Free section

Sure, somebody asked for a swap section but what about a free section? So people can give away their non-needed parts away to whoever wants them. For instance I have a stem and bars I dont need and cant get rid of for sale so if anyone wants them they can take them. This'd be useful if someone breaks a part and is saving up for somehting better or the like

There's not enough free stuff to warrant it's own catagory. Just put them up in the for sale area, and garunteed you'll get rid of them, and get some happy vibes by the end of the week.

ppffff! but what about when I want free stuff? It seemed to work well on pinkbike and fixedgeargallery. But pinkbike was just one thread so maybe thats the way? Or how about in the thread we could do (for instance)

No. Farkin.net is a bike site. Having a section where non bike related products can be sold will only attract people that are looking for another avenue to sell their e.g ps2 or used condoms ect. We want to keep our member base bike related.
