Hey guys,

It's not mtb, but had to post this: World record motocross jump by Robbie Madison, 322 Feet! .

Done at RIO Casino in Las Vegas. Have a look at the video - just amazing!

PS: I think it was Robbie who towed Nathan Rennie in for his world record long jump attempt last year out Cooper Pedy way.

wasnt a guy meant to 360 a truck ramp to ramp, as part of the Rebull NYE experiment?

What A legend, and he dedicated it to the late Evil Kenival.

4 seconds of air time I heard. Could have had a cup of tea if he wasn't so concerned about landing....

That takes mega awesome gigantic balls to do something like that.

I believe this was the first in a series of world record attempts across different sports as part of the Red Bull Experiment. Apparently Robbie wanted to jump 360 feet and this was the reason for the second attempt.

Have a look at this photo of the jump to get some perspective of the airtime..

New Zealander Rys Millen Drifter and off road racer, was supposed to back flip an off road racing truck. But he compressed and fractured vertibrae in his back and neck practicing the jump but will make a full recovery.

Ha apparently successfully landed a few in practice into a foam pit type setup.
