Earthed 5/MTB movies-Music

Ok, I know what your probably thinking, another teenager having a whine. However, I am just posting my thoughts on a movie, thoughts shared with friends/other riders. Watching Earthed 5 today (only got to cairns this week) We noticed that the Music was not quite as it should be if that makes sence. MTB movies should make you wanna grab your bike and fly down the track. The most recent Earthed movie did not make me feel this, the Footage Was Brilliant, The music needed to looked at again. I feel that there should be more Metal/rock in MTB movies eg. ACDC, Metallica etc.

As I have said THIS IS MY OPINION AND THE OPINION OF A FEW OF MY CLOSE FRIENDS this is not Bagging the movie in any way just a thought.

Yeah, I pretty much agree with Daver. BUT only because of the fact all of the Earth movies have been like that, with abstract music. They had ballroom Blitz for FFS! (Which I must admit.. was pretty fking kool :D).

I don't enjoy the music much either, but I can tolerate it due to the sick riding.. To change the music now would be silly.

I totally agree.
Some songs were OK but others just made me cringe. Even my wife commented that the music was shit.

Apart from that it was good, Sam is a cyborg of some description. No human can ride like that.

I couldnt give a toss wether the music "amps" me up or not, I generally watch a MTB flick when I cant ride.

I've never seen earthed 5.

Some songs are better than others. I like 95% of the music in earthed 4.

But I hate some of the music in other ones. "IM ALLLERGIC IMM ALLLERRGGIICCC" God I hope she is cos' I couldnt stand listening to that song.

If you're that bothered, turn the volume off and crank some music you like whilst its playing for like an hour ;)

thats funny, cause i find myself hating the the music in 99% of MTB movies, especially all the xtreem mad hucxor gods metal shite. Probably because I have no teenage angst.


I generally watch MTB movies for the riding/locations, and this is especially the case with earthed. One of the reasons I like Sam Hill so much is that he shuts up and gets on with it.
