Hey, Sorry if this is in the wrong place or anything (im only new to this site) I was wondering if there was any S.A riders that ride up at any part of black hill conservation park?? bmx or mtb dosn't matter.

I *used* to ride the fireroad descent trail that hooks off to the left from just after you enter from the end of Addison Avenue and comes out in the houses near Gorge Rd, but that was back in about 1988.

Don't recall there being any trail that was BMX worthy, just dirt fire roads.

I'm speaking about ancient history though, could be anything there nowdays.

Yeah, i think i know the fireroad your talking about theres a very small bmx track up there now nothing special..i rode a decent trail up there a couple of days ago basically on a cliff trail isnt wide either its rocky so you can easily slip off and go down the cliff but its a pretty good trail, cant wait to get a kona though bmx's rnt good for trails lol.

If my vodka addled brain from 1991 serves me correct, the descent into the park from the summit would be pretty sick on a DH bike too. (stairs and everything) The shuttle to the top would be a biatch though, it's a heck of a long walk (an hour?), even when you're not pushing a bike.

I've been drunk and run down it from the summit (at 2 am with a full moon) so I'm guessing it'd be possible to ride down it. Dumb maybe, but possible...?

Most of the fire trails (like the one to ghost tree gully) go for miles and go pretty much nowhere.

yeeah i know the fire track leading to ghost tree gully i walked up 20mins and just the same thing lol i know what you mean it goes for miles nd its basically the same thing i walked up there for bout 25mins and just the same looking hill, one day i wanna go right up to the top lol, but i start to get a headache up there -_-..some of the trails running off of the firetrack are alright.
