well tonight brought a close to SBS's acclaimed (http://www.theage.com.au/news/tv--radio/btvb-sbs-police-series-picks-up-where-iwildsidei-left-off/2007/12/05/1196812787352.html) mini series and i for one am sad to see it end.

i personally found it terribly engaging, unpredictable (a rarity when compared to every other crime shows on tv these days) and suprisingly well shot.
it's clever cast, relevant and witty story- packed with twists and turns, had me hooked and wanting next week to come around sooner.
sure it had it's pitfalls- it was occasionally cheesy and stereotypical but i believe its a positive step forward for Australian TV and hopefully the small hype it's created will spur on better shows like it.

i'm interested to see what other Farkiners thought of the series.

Hey!
Tried to start a thread here when it kicked off

Enjoyed the last one, was getting a little far fetched, but they pulled it together well. Was in the "special Chair" nice glass (bottle) of vino by my side taking it all in...By far the best Aussie drama in ages.

Like you said, some cheesy bits here and there, and some borderline acting, but overall a tops effort. Suprised noone tapped the "dodgy syd underworld/"new aussie" theme earlier - perfect tellie material.

Now TV is restricted to Top Gear mondays and the occaisional SBS movie....more time to spend working on the bike I guess.

(maybe the three of us could start a fan club) (embarrassed emoticon)

It was farking awesome! If they could tap it for more series , I would be an avid viewer....and yet I only managed to get in one episode (last week).
Probably a one shot thing though :(

Better than practically every cop/crime related show we've ever had. Frankly who would watch the main network shit if more of this stuff was available?
Good Guys Bad Guys was pretty cool though, but thats a whole different story.
