Ankle Tape

Hey, today i sprained my ankle really bad, and tommorrow i really want to ride Buller, if i tape my ankle up would it be better for the riding because it has less movement?
any tips to get my ankle a bit better would be great.

If you sprained it really bad you should'nt be able to walk on it.

Someone is on the money. Serious sprains require crutches, I sprained my right ankle so bad once I had a cast!

Strapping is pointless unless you know what you are doing. You can wrap any joint in tape, but it's pointless unless done properly.

i sprained my ankle really bad playing league a few months ago and i couldnt walk AT ALL for a week and a bit.
but if it aint too bad just tape it really tight.

If its really bad, dont take the risk. All your ligaments are really stretched out therefore your joint is really loose. You could risk doing alot more damage because it isn't as strong as it should be.

Ive had over 10 bad sprains in my life time. Every time it happens my ankles get worse and weaker. Look after them if you can.

Lots and Lots of R.I.C.E will help with the healing.

Also, try, heat pack on, cold pack on method to try and get as much blood in there as possible.

I was just saying maybe you are over exaggerating. But if you do think its "really bad" you shouldn't be riding the next day.

Dont ride....rest, dont f*ck with it and dont try strapping it if you dont know how
