I'd just like to say how amazing that place is. I'm a downhill rider at heart, but i've got a giant xtc zero for training (amoung about a thousand bikes), and the guys from work conned me into going xc riding. It is damn fun. I really love the variety of trails there and how you can link them all together. What I thought would be a boring uphill pain session turned out to be a really fun ride all morning. Glad I finally gave xc a chance...

Daisy Hill is indeed a fun place to ride around, I have grown up around it and have been riding there for about 15 odd years or so, taught my wife how to ride in there and my sister as well so it is easy enough for beginners as well, glad you had fun

do they still have that chocolate buddha track there?

i heard they sold the land where chocolate buddha was and houses where being built there.

Only been there once back in the xc days but it was enjoyable.

Yeah Choc budda is still there, pretty farked though. There's 2 decent things there. The other trails are pretty good though, especially stonehenge.

Glad you liked XC riding. IMO it's all good, I'm happy on a DH track or XC climb. :)

Gap creek and Bunya are better though. :p

the first time i did chocolate buddha 2 years ago i thought it was the bomb. Daisy hill over all is a great spot if your looking for some mellow riding. very fun

Glad to hear you like it, Daisy's a little bit haggard these days but still
pretty fun on a xc ride. Did you try Nirvana? probably the best track up
here.

Daisy hill is a great place to ride. Last time i went there was really pissed though to see the see saw in half. Has great trails but would love to fix up all the old north shore bridges through the place.

I cant really see the dodgy shore getting fixed up at all. I used to touch it up a while ago and make it good but when have people coming in, riding it, wrecking because they cant ride it and just not looking after it its not worth it

Yeah the teeter totter is actually snapped in half and really suss as for all
the shore stuff it still works but really needs a major overhaul. I've fixed it
a few times as well but it tends to end up wrecked due to the hacks:rolleyes:
