Check out the 661 site.
They have some awesome gloves.
me and a lot of other riders use troy lee design XC gloves...they last for ages and they are really comfy...not very breathable though

Just picked up a set of Thor AC gloves whilst down in Thredbo and they're awesome so far, similar to TLD XC's but possibly a bit lighter :)
tld airs, super comfy, really breathable and look great too

661 comp, can't wait for the new ones...
sweet!!!
Fox Digit. Never had a problem with them, use them for everything. They are very popular, half the people i ride with wear them.

Troy Lee XC gloves , they are mega comfy , no armour but they are great.
I had a crash while wearing fox digits - and considering that I slid along the gravel / rocks for a good 10 metres, they held up really well - they were munted afterwards - but a great investment - and saved my hands.
I am using the TLD XC gloves now - and haven't crashed in them yet - but they don't look like they would hold up to the same abuse in a spill that the digits did.

I run 661 gloves they are great. But seriously dude. Your asking for opinions on gloves? Just go try some on in a shop you will find some good ones that feel good and fit well and stop asking farkineers for advice on little things like gloves.

I bought some new 2008 661 Airflow gloves off beyondbikes.com not long ago. They're the comfiest gloves I've ever tried, they also look bloody good, and are reasonably cheap. I think all of the 2008 661 gloves looks great, well, all 661 gear, hence why I have lots of it...

First and only sensible response. Try some on. It's a personal thing. Don't be swayed by trends. I use 661 Rajis and TLD XC but if I do come agutsa I'll be regretting it. That said - they are super feeeely mits.
661 Comp gloves are trail gloves. They are not intended for excessive DH use. Nor are Digit's FTM. That said - I still have a set of Digits from 2 yrs ago and they are ok, but have copped a beating.
Go to your local hangout and ask them to show you 661 Descends.
The current model in white only is reduced and you should be able to score a set of these $80+ puppies for under $50!!!! Now that is a noice DH glove.

I like TLD XC's as well, but they dont have a snot rag which sucks, they do have one of the nicesest velcros/closing style I have used...took a little while to get used to but I definatly prefer it.
Oh and they do stretch a bit as well so make sure you get a small enough pair. And finally dont get the hot pink ones, the decals come off ver quickly, and the pink fades very quickly....you end up with a plain looking pair of soft pink gloves (and that was in the UK I imagine they must change almost overnight in the stronger UV of Oz)

Ive got Fox digits
any glove that protects your hand will work as a bike glove
Kona cowan are awesome, so soft you could be grasping handfuls of pillowy breast and still find the nipple, still good for manipulation. Not so awesome when it comes to the hardwearing long lasting criteria, still, I will keep buyin them, and they look wicked too.
