Hey i am looking at getting some freeride forks for my bike,
i need forks no bigger than 140mm so that i do not put to much pressure on my headtube,... any suggestions would be welcome
even if they are not full on freeride forks. a set AM forks that would be able to handle a 6 foot huck
thnx

i am putting these forks on a UMF Hardy 2 disc '08
Take a good look at the Rockshox Pike Range. All mountain forks which have adjustable 95-140mm travel (409 model) which can be used for all disciplines (sp?) of riding.

You might be a bit hard on a set of Pikes when doing any hard Freeriding.
If you think that your bike can handle a bit more travel try looking at 55s they'd be a lot tougher for what kind of riding you're doing.

is that good because if you put big forks on a big bike you will possibably snap the frame

Ah sick, I've got the 06 model, so I'm interested in this as well. I've been looking at the fox 32 series lately, as you can pick them up cheap off ebay, they're 140mm and quick release, so you won't need a new hub.
