Hi all , did a search and couldnt see mutch . I was wanting to know what sort of air presser to rider weight people were running on the boxxer air world cups . To my weight , the recommended air presser is 125/135 psi but i prefer 105 psi . Will i be damaging the fork by running a low air presser and are you able to run the fork lower than 100 psi . Thanks . Damo

From what I have heard most people generally run about 10 - 20 psi less than recommended by RS.

Rockshox overspring everything as a matter of habit - their stock springs are usually suitable for ~90kg riders and I'm pretty sure their air pressure recommendations are the same. Don't stress about running lower pressure, it won't damage anything unless you're chronically bottoming out hard. Sub 100psi should be fine. Minimum air pressures only really apply in damper-precharge applications (like the air pressure in a DHX/Swinger/5th), not in air springs.

Air presser? That'd be the piston, wouldn't it? :D

the pressures RS give are just a guide, I know racers running up to 235psi with no probs.... for the record Sam Hill normally runs 135 to 140 psi...
