Been a while since I posted my rigs up.

This is my BB7, might not be the latest and greatest but I love it. Heaps of fun to ride and its so smooth. Haven't been able to ride it for the last 6wks after breaking my wrist at a race, can't wait till the weekend when I can finally get back on the big bike

Just got the forks lowered to 7", so as it is in the pics (in low/slack shock mount) its got a 13.97" BB height and 63-64deg head angle = choooiice

That thing is perfect mate. Great spec and great frame. Have fun on her, I know I would.

Nice ride mate, the nerdier dh'ers on here would likely kill to throw that down a rocky track. :)

PS - have you actually measured the head angle? I don't think that's 63-64deg, more like 65+ having measured a few bikes.. just nitpicking though.

Love the look of that thing, maybe it's because it looks heavy duty,i dont know,it does look the business though, and looks like it would still be ticking over long after i have expired!
Top stuff!

my mate had one of these....except he had repeative problems with the swing arm plates with the bolts holding them on, so my advice is check them regularly to see they are not comming loose, altho this is the only case ive heard of.

but apart from that it looks very nice man!

Looks great. Yeah worth locktighting all your (non)linkage plates to be safe. I'd imagine it's close to the 40lb mark with the kit you've got on it,probably 41. Sweet ride, you'll love it.Yeah I think UDIs right with his ironic nerdiness,I recon it's 65+ also. Enjoy it it's heaps better than a Sunday

That wouldn't be Henry's would it?
Top ride, if i was going to get a DH rig, this would pretty much be what I'm after!

balfas run the chain over a roller by the pivot to prevent the chain jack that is usually a problem on high pivot bikes.

looking sick sam i'll try and get my one posted on here tonight

Haha thanks, yea it loves rough stuff. I tried measuring it using a ruler and a protractor, just went and measured it again a bit more accurately and I got just under 65 (64.5-65), so you might be right. I think the pics make it look steeper than it is though. Either way it feels a lot better with the forks lowered, way more nimble than it was before.

Cheers Will yours looks way cooler than mine tho!

Yea I've been checking the bolts in the linkage plates after every ride, they've come loose once already and had to tighten them up (wouldn't have noticed if Will hadn't told me) but I've hardly ridden it since because of my wrist. Might get out the locktight if they come loose again.

it's weird i've never had issues with mine, but i do pretty much swing on the allen key when i tighten them. the ones on the top of the cnc links connecting the rockers to the shock are the ones to watch, if they come lose the threads ovalize, then you've got a problem
