Kink Gap bottom bracket problem ???

Hey,

My mate, runtypoo, just bought a Kink Gap from melbourne(new) it was shipped not fully assembled. We needed to put the pedals, bars, wheels and chain on. However we noticed that the bit that the cranks are connected to that goes through the bottom bracket seems to be loose. The cranks wobble..

Any info on how to fix it would help.

Loosen bolts that pinch the spindle (bit where the cranks sit on) and tighten the bolts on either side of the spindle
then tighten the pinch bolts.

we tried that but to no avail, so we took it down to the LBS

Turns out it was a faulty part or who ever assembled it did it up too tightly or something like that, stripped the threads and thats wat caused it to be loose.

Should be fixed soon
