ok guys

what sort of price range should a 2005 Norco VPS Shore be falling into?

im looking at one currently, specs are as follows:

front forks: 8inch 888 marzocchi Bombers with Rebound adj, upgraded springs and oil .
Rear Shock : 8inch Fox DHX 5.0 with heavy duty spring.
BRAND NEW cassette
BRAND NEW rear derailer SRAM x7
BRAND NEW chain
BRAND NEW 38 Sprocket chain ring attached to e.thirteen guide .(has been riden once since fitted)
Synchos front rim, Mag 30 rear rim both straight (minion tyres)
Race Face cranks.
Hayes hydraulic Disk brakes.
just servieced prior to putting it up for sale.

ok so he wants around $1400 for it, and said he will do it for $1200 does it sound like a fair deal, or should i be pushing him a bit lower?

Im not fully qualified to answer but with front and rear suspension like that and a good branded bike around 1G should serve you well, and 05 isnt too old either so its not like your buying old technology

Stock spec like that, I'd have to say round 1500 depending on condition.

EDIT: Just saw the 1400 thing... yeah that sounds good to me.

thanks for the replys guys.. now i just have to decided what to do.. yeh its in near new condition by the looks of things. might try and crack him down to $100 or so..

and sell my bike.. it seems as though the secondhand bike market is pretty quiet at the moment..
