The Automatic:
The Automatic is based off the Carbide and Snyper look and design.

Pedaling efficiency and bump absorption is optimized through a design that provides minimal chain growth and a linear shock action.
Available here next week.

Primer 220:
The Tomac DH legacy continues with the Primer 220,a full blown DH race bike designed from the ground up by Doug Bardbury and Mark Landsaat.

Below is a picture of the first production Primer 220 (Red Wheels) next to an original prototype (Black Wheels).
Notice the hydroformed top and down tube on the production bike.
The bikes are currently being tested by Tomac Factory Team Manager and World Cup rider Claudio Caluori and superfast Swiss Junior Robin Hagen, a member of this year’s Tomac World Cup Squad.

The Automatic frame RRP is $1999.00 (in customs now )

Come March production run (late March delivery) they will also be available in completes with 2 build kits.
Automatic 1 will carry a full XT drive train, Juicy 7's, Thompson stem and seatpost and the list goes on. We expect the RRP to be around the $5000 mark.
The Automatic 2 will be basically a Sram build, with X9 rear derailleur, X7 shifters, DT swiss wheelset, and Stylo crankset. RRP expected to sit at $4199

More on the completes when we get closer!

Is it just me or does that Automatic have only 3 pivots? Relies on flex from the dropouts?

Yeah, its based on the Snyper and carbide which have carbon seat stays that flex. I was a little surprised to see them do it with a full alloy rear too...

You see correctly, but all is not as it seems.

There’s a eccentric pivot in the seat stay end of the Automatic…that’s what allows us to eliminate the carbon seat stay and still maintain a fully triangulated swingarm (for stiffness)

S. PM me if you would like to see a vid of how it works or a picture
