can you guys/gals tell me the best way to lift boxxer seals so i can put a bit of lube underneath 'em and clean 'em up a bit?
i've tried with a screwdriver but i'm worried about slipping and scratching the shit outta the stanchions and stuffing the seal up.
or is it easier just to take the forks apart and just give em a service?

I fucked my Duke's XXX seals buy using a scred driver, not getting them out, but putting them back in :S If they are old seals they will pop up, and go back in pretty easily... You Deside!
I have found serrvicing dont take that much time anyways, might aswell give them a cleen and a service, keep things running nice and buttery :D

just put them in at bike shop, new seals are only like 20 30 buks, if you pull them out wrong like i did with my boxxers(seals now replaced) they keep popping out depending on how hard you push your forks, so dont risk it,

yeah well i could spend my money on better things anyways :) so i'm probly better off servicing em
Take a trip down to your local bearing shop with seals in hand. I purchased some seals from for rock-shox boxxers for $7 a pair, bit cheaper than the bike shop?

Even better than the price, I'm running some Hallite seals in my Psylos, and unlike the Rock Shox seals which had a habit of keeping the outside of the lowers very well oiled, these ones haven't leaked a drop.
