For the love of all things merciful, have a look around the site and make the effort to post your questions/comments etc in the CORRECT FORUM!

Not EVERYTHING just gets dumped into "General MTB", OK?:)

You definitely need to give a bit more info here mate.

The VX-2000's, while I don't know much about them, are apparently pretty old and not on the top of may people's list these days.

If you're looking for a small semi-pro camera though then maybe take a look at any of these:

heaps more out there, and heaps of places to read about it firsthand. Checkout www.dvxuser.com - pretty good forum - same with www.creativecow.com and www.creativecalf.com

Have fun mate.

I'm no expert but I do suggest either buying or borrowing a basic camera before busting out into something hardcore. Just to get an idea on how it all works.

Have you had any experience in filming/editing at all?

Also what are your computer capabilities? Nothing worse then editing with a shit computer that takes 50years do to something.
