Hey all,

I'm just stuck for birthday present ideas at the moment and wouldn't mind some help. It's for a female turning 22, sounds easy enough... but she lives in the U.S. So that means two things for me:

1. Has to be compact and durable enough to send in the post.
2. Preferably something that is uniquely Australian, but obviously not a lame souvenir type gift.

The only decent idea I've had so far is a "photo book", if you'd call it that. Like a hard cover book with a collection of Australian imagery by a photographer.

Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated,

What about a pair of ug (ugg? ugh?) boots? It gets cold in the states in some places, and ug boots are a semi-australian-thingo-but-not-over-the-top

The photo album sounds crap :P
