Hi, now firstly can i just say im not 100% sure if im posting in the correct forum here so please dont flame me if this is the wrong place, just let me know and ill try to contact a Mod about it.

I have Bought a Pair of Tubular crank and 19mm spindle for 50 dollars including postage of a bloke on here, and i have give him my postal address and deposited 50 dollars into his bank account....since i deposited the money i have heard nothing from him. no i do not expect the cranks should be here by now but i would've like to have some feed back as to when they were sent and if my money came through.

What can i do about this? are there any mods that would like to have some extra details? should i post his name in this post?

PM me the full details of the transaction, including the ad, the other bloke's username, the date you paid, the price you agreed on, and any contact details you have for him (including name, phone number, email address etc), as well as any other details you think were relevant.

If you find yourself the victim of fraud or some other unlawful happening contact your local police. Beyond removing trading access and banning them from the website there is little we can do to pursue wrong doers. And no, we cannot give out email addresses/IP addresses unless they are already publicly available so do not ask.

Try and limit yourself to local buys, helps cut down on stuff like this happening. Hope it works out for you!

click on their user name, and then under public profile it should say.

Mate you checked when this guy you traded in with was last logged in? Might have gone away or cant get to a computer...has happened to me before, sold somthing couldnt get to a computer for a weekend...the guy was all cool about it so it ended sweet!

i am having a similar sort of problem with a member selling me his hub.
the story starts when i put a wanted thread in the wanted to buy section for a 32 hole 20mm front hub.
a few people contact me by pm and through the thread and i find the one i like.
it is a full front wheel but he says he will split and just sell me the hub for 70 plus postage. i have not been ripped of yet as such because we decided on a cash on delivery.
it has been two weeks since i have received a reply which i find very strange seeing the they still manage to log on pretty much everyday and post something in another thread but not answer.
i have sent multiple pm's to ask where the hub is and why they are not answering (using my manners of course).
i dont want to name any names yet but if you can help me it would be greatly appreciatted
