lowering forks

hey guys,

i have done a search but did not find anything relevant or helpfull.
I have 2005 marzocchi dirt jam pros and i would like to lower them to aproximately 80mm, 100mm is too long for frame. does anyone know how this is done? the internals are incredibly basic so with no compression rod thingy, so i am not sure what to do.

any help would be greatly appreciated.
