Wow, dirt jumping is harder than it looks.

I thought downhill was scary when I first started doing it.

I went to the corso jumps by myself today... I only managed to do one. I did the last one backwards once as well... when I didn't realise what way you were meant to ride them. :p The lip on that last one is hardly a lip.

How much do you have to pedal down that start ramp thingy to clear the first one?

It feels so weird to me, the jumping technique is so different to what I'm used to for DH.

How big are these in the scheme of things? I'm used to long and low, not short and high, so it's a bit of a shock.

Also what's with those paths going back behind the jumps down into that cleared out creek?

Seeing as the firsts ones a tabletop you should be able to figure it out by testing speed. I think I took 4-5 full solid cranks on a bmx to clear it perfect. Dont cat out on the others if you land them smooth the next one will be smooth too.

And pretty sure that those tracks are from the council going in and out of there? Coz they drove a backo in and had lunch down behind the fence when I was there.

Me and a couple of mates started building some jumps down a path behind the jumps, accross the creek and up the other side. We gave up on building though and I havent been there for a long time.
Yeah the corso jumps are alot better now than they were a few months ago, i find the first jump really bucks you up though...
