FIRST DOWNHILL RACE OF THE YEAR - ENTRIES NOW OPEN
Don't miss all the action at the FIRST DOWNHILL & SLALOM RACE of the year. It's been a long drought between racing last year and at last the first race of the year takes place on a brand new downhill course never before raced at Canungra.
We have specially designed and built a new longer downhill course for the Weekend Warrior Festival on Saturday 10th May. You will not only have the downhill to race and watch but also we have a whole new style of event not raced for many years up here the SLALOM. For those who have not seen or taken part in a slalom they are different from the 4X in that there are two courses adjacent to each other with two riders going head to head against their opponent on the adjacent course. Each rider has a race run on each of the two courses and the rider who has the fastest combined time out of the two riders proceeds through to the next round. The slaloms are exiting and great spectator viewing.
ENTRIES ARE PRE-ENTRY ONLY AND CLOSE ON THE 25TH APRIL.
Observed Trials Demo & Competition
Awe in the skill of these riders as they balance and bunny hop their bikes over natural and man made obstacles. Why not test your skills and have a go at the Observed Trials.
Why not camp over and get a group of mates together & form a team and take part in the Matrix 6 Hour Challenge. You would be surprised how many downhillers are getting into these team events.
