instead of buying a mid range bike and putting all good parts on it. why dont you buy a top of the line complete that has all the goodparts on it already?!!/

if you buy purple rims you need to pay for relacing and possbly new spokes too.

yea i know ive tried relacing rims it takes ages and then there still not true

what hes saying is that buying just rims ull have to spend at least 40-50 bucks a wheel to build it up to your current hubs and then you may need new spokes which will cost you too, if you want a white complete get a subrosa pandora or fit flow trail. and theyll save you money and be a great bike at the same time.
learn to search.
nah owen, thats too simple

dont colony make an all white bike? pretty good parts on it too?
Yes, but that would be all too easy and won't have sick purple shadow conspiracy gear to be hella cool!
Colony Endeavor by the way.

hey mate i have a light blue pinner seat $40 if you wanted. and make sure you put up a picture when the bike is done.
thanx for you help guys but the colony endeavor cost a fair bit and thats just stock,
Bullshit. They are $950 at a shop near me, on sale for $850 at the moment actually.
$200 more than the Eastern, and the parts you listed had it around the $1500 mark for an eastern element with purple shit on it!

$900 or 800 i will get that then cos i get my prices on strictly bmx and its $1140 and thats with out all the purple parts on it
will...
13-04-2008, 07:46 AM
Well why don't you buy the Colony Endeavour or similar top end bike, and then get all the purple stuff from america??
Would probably end up cheaper, and the aussie dollar is pretty good at the moment. (93 cents)
EDIT:
All the stuff except rims would be AUS$245 + postage off dans. If you buy the rims and bike from strictly they will probably build them up for you for a bit cheaper. I would highly recommend getting the Endeavour or the Flow trail though, generally stay away from Easterns IMO.
Hope this helps
Yeah I'm hella bored aha

Yeap, pricing on them has dropped, bringing the RRP down to 900ish. Makes them a pretty good value option now.
Just bear in mind some shops may still have stock from the earlier pricing, so they may not be so willing to do the cheaper prices on floor stock.
and the subrosa i was looking at that a while back ad i heard heaps of people had trouble with bits and pieces comming loose,
my back wheel once came loose. threw that shit out and got a brand new bike

i would just wait and get a better bike. if you buy a complete for that much it would be way better value then replacing all the old stuff + you would get a stronger frame
i have 2 mates with eastern elements and all they have is problems with it and there both from different places

yeah, make sure you dont spend more than $1000 in one go thoug, you will get customs tax.
unsure of the figures though.
just make sure you space two orders apart if you are going to order that much.

that is the most ridiculous post EVER.
just because some random goon doing 1 footer wallrides fucked up an eastern doesn't mean every single bike/frame/part is shit and going to break.
when you buy a light frame you take the risk of it being more likely to bend/twist/dent/crack/die.
we don;'t know if he got warranty yet either.
the eastern element is a different frame than the reaper also.
there's nothing wrong with eastern. sure their parts aren't the best, but they aren't the most expensive.
