Chain Tensioner

Hey Guys, I have a 08 stp2 which is single speed and i really don't like the look of the chain tensioner is there anyway of getting rid of it because Shaun at FTR told me that i need it because of my Horizontal drop outs. Is there any component that can let me get rid of the tensioner

you may aswell keep it,, ittl stop you from screwing yourself over when you chain skips..

you can always try and find the 'magic ratio' but it isnt worth it, cause the chain will just stretch anyway.

and i mean.. does it really look that bad? mine looks fineeee.

Don't bother with the 'magic ratio'. Its all a waiste of time and only to get rid of a tensioner. If set up properly tensioners are hardly even noticeable and look fine. Don't worry, you'lll get over it soon enough and learn to live with it.
