Hey guys, i've got some good mates I go riding with already but I thought i'd put up a thread in the spirit of meeting some other riders, of a similar age. I'm aware there are already two Wollongong threads but I was specifically wanting to meet some guys about 20 or older (i'm 25) to do some downhill. I've been riding for awhile and know most of the tracks around the Illawarra, so send me a PM or reply if interested.

Hey mate, revieved your "pms".
As stated sunday seems positive, however im workring at 3. still theres alot of rideing that can be done before that. I fall short of your age bracket by 2 years (18), do you still want to consider any rideing days?
Thank you

Oh mate I'm perfect, I'm nearly 24 and own a fully sick downhill bike of like 10 years ago. Its a gary fisher with a cool fluro paint job and I look fully awsome when i go down on it in a full face helmet.
Oh yeah and I own a van cause you know how it is, a person with a van is just that bit more popular.
So everyone doesn't think i'm a really weird stalker i'm just taking the piss out of John, the guy who posted the thread who i'm mates with. Looking foward to meeting ya's on the trails.

Nah I'm sorry mate, I can tell from what you have just said that you're the kind of guy who would rather sit behind a desk and study uni work all day, rather than actually get out and ride...

It seems that with the age bracket rules, you're looking for maturity rather than actual age? (especially after that last guys post)
Unless you're considering people driving shuttles?

He is a mate of mine, it's a bit of an in joke... When I was between downhill bikes I took my 10 yr old Gary fisher commuter bike on a downhill run with him because I was desperate for a ride. What he dosn't tell you is that I still flogged him down the hill (maybe I'm making that last bit up)!
The last bit is because, seriously, who doesn't chose their friends by how good their car would be to shuttle bikes with. Vans are great.
And lastly, no, he usually isn't funny but likes to think he is :p
