Which suburb are you in? There are lots of options, head to your local hill and you're likely to find a track.

well shaun :) i think you walk your lazy bottom up to the stockyards section and hit the propper tracks ;). and also there's track 13 which most people agree is the funnest track there. also track 7 isn't bad either. bit of northshores.

Yeah i know james i was just thinking of a fun track for a newbie.. Track 5 is very easy to get around, couple of easy little rock gardens with no broken bones for people that dont know what they are doing..
I personally will be heading to track 12 hehe :D

lol just because i pretended my name is james doesn't mean you can call me that after you know my real name. anyway track 13 is easy and you can go around all the jumps.

at you yangs id say, track 6 (or 5? called lactic acid.. make sure you go down it not up it other wise it coudl live up to its name), track 9 (boudler run) is always fun for a warm up, nice smooth and flowly if you dont mind pedaling yoru arse of it can be fun, a few small 1 foot drops to build up confidence, and a REALLLLLY steep rock roll down thing.
track 7 is getting a bit more difficult and dangerous for some one that isnt confident, a few rock sections where a fall could end up down a steep hill.
and track 13, is pretty simple and damn fun, any oen can do that, i coudl ride the top section all day long.
