I am thinking of doing the full series of the NSW state rounds next year maybe do a few this year. How much do they cost? Entry Fees, Liscense fees etc is it expensive to do?? Are they worth it and also i am going to be 18 what age group will i be in?? if my younger bro was to do it as well who is 15 what age group would he be in?
Thanks

Dan.

The age groups are determined by what age your turning that year. Eg your 15 but turning 16 = under17's.

There is no u18 so you'd be U19. If you turn 19 before the end of the year you'd need to step up to sport, expert or elite.

At the moment entry fees are $95.
This covers transport for the 2 days as well

License fees are $15 for a day license or $80 + club fee (~$10) for yearly, $60 + club fee for juniors.

If you are 15 you'd be in u17 anyway. It's under 15s not 15 or under:D

Traditionally you need to be a member of a club to join MTBA (Get a yearly license) not sure if you can bypass this.

But hey, if the $10 goes towards supporting a club that does their share for MTBing is that so bad?

Talk to MTBA

From memory you need 5 committee members (at least 3 of which need to be full MTBA members) and 1 ordinary member
