I used a hammer and two telephone books.
One book on the bottom, put cup in top, cover with second book, whack repeatedly with hammer. Turn over and repeat
It was dodgy and I damn nearly wrecked my new frame although its worked fine ever since. I'll be letting the pro's handle it next time.

Yeah you very nearly got some business out of me.
Luckily Craftworks aren't shy with the metal on their frames.

Yeah I guess it does. My sig is meant to be in regards to trail building but I guess now that you point it out its a bit broad.
I did get the cups in eventually and its worked flawlessly since so it did work, but it was touch and go for a bit.

How about a long bolt and two flat pieces of hard wood (big enough to cover the bearing cups). Drill a hole in the middle of each peice of hard wood. Put the bold though the first piece of timber, therd the cup onto the bolt. Cairefully place this into the frame making sure that it is squaire with the frame. Place the lower cap over the end of the bolt followed by the second piece of timer then secrw the nut onto the bolt. Finaly tighten the bolt this will push the cups into the frame in a controlled manner and you can take caire not to dammage the cups frame and you can keep a close eye on how the installation of the bearing cups.
I hope this helps.
