I don't generally sell parts (in case you hadn't guessed I use them to destruction).
You could buy the frame though; has a life time warranty.
Hucking's always pretty funny but pretty limiting i guess. And yes I did fark one of my ankles up on one of them.
Its surprising how smooth stairs are for a down ramp. (Much smoother than flat landings anyways.)
I wonder if it's actually possible to stylishly huck?!?!

Of all the stairs you didn't do.
What about the long long flight of stairs that start from the library/CLB and end at the quad.
Now thats townhilling. You should of done time trials down them :D
haha reminds me of me when i first started, good work guys keep it up!

I've done them but we just didn't film them. They are are bit too spaced out to clear and use as a down ramp so it would be just a film of me riding down some steps! The ones just up from the arc store though,,, now they would be a big set to clear. The ones at the top of the main drag bottomed me out pretty severely though so best not get too ambitious. Its so amazing how smooth stairs are at speed though.
I think I might head back to proper trails and get onto some bigger drops first (with proper down ramps) and then come back for a new slice of concrete.

Yeah hucking + concrete will do that....
Does anyone remember the ridiculous things we used to do on crappy bikes when we were kids? Now for some reason you spend more on a bike (which should be capable of more) and you're supposed to baby it. I know hucking isn't exactly smooth or anything but when you're just mucking around for an hour or two at "home" (I live at college), then you play with what you've got. I can assure you that, although not that awesome, my riding style on proper DH and trails is more than adequately smooth (having grown up on bikes without any travel etc) and even then the bike takes a beating form dirt and rocks and stuff.

Im sitting here at work... looking out the window to where the spanky cruz heckler is sitting in the bike rack I work up the very top of UNSW campus
Im having trouble deciding which set of stairs to go home via.... glad this video was here to help me make up my mind.....
The climb up the hill is a sh*tty way to start work.... the quick ride down the hill is a great way to start my home trip.
lol, the never ending unsw stairs.

Up the top of campus you say? Well then you should be pretty close to the ones in the first scene. I've never actually walked down those ones :D:D:D
Those ones were the most fun. (Namely because no hucking was involved)

yeah, top of the campus... near where the new cancer building is being.. well, built.
My second day of work here (before any of those filthy students were around for classes) I was hassled by security for riding down the stairs.... At first I thought they were so impressed with my riding they called ahead to their mates to watch me at the bottom. But the guys at the bottom weren't clappin or impressed, so I kept on riding... trying hard to ignore them. I think they were bored....
From library lawn, down through quadrangle to science square.
I havent been down the stairs since my second day (I puss out and go via wasney road usually).... I work here, cant afford to get the boot for being sillier than normal.
spanky
p.s. I dont huck the panty cruz.... cant afford to munt it, but you are right, stairs are so smooth at speed.

Ah the memories.
I used to ride all over UNSW in the wee small hours of the morning on a $400 fully rigid Mongoose about 10 years ago when I was at college. Basser steps on a fully rigid was pretty rough. I also rode down the high street hill and did a lap of the Village Green naked, the couple who were making out on the VG when I went past though that was pretty rough as well.
I've also done that huck that you guys were doing onto grass on my old Giant Warp. I stupidly did it flat to concrete and not grass though. Shortly afterwards it broke, can't think why.
One day when I have endless cash I am going to become an event promoter, team up with Redbull and hold an urban downhill race on the UNSW campus, with whats already there and a few wooden ramps here and there I reckon it would be an absolutely sensational venue for that kind of event.

AMEN TO THAT!
I've been eyeing off some sort of race through UNSW ever since I set foot inside. I'm at college too at Basser.
There would be some absolutely massive stairs to clear if you had the balls. To clear those ones that I was rolling down...... holy dooly.

Sweet. Tell you what. You drop out of Mining Engineering or whatever you are doing that takes you to Basser and pick up a Marketing degree and when I get back to Oz I'll invest the vast sums of cash that I make as a trail builder and we'll make millions by promoting races on campus.

Oh just think of it. Instead of a foam pit jump, we could have a money pit where you land in $100 notes...
