Its simple tell us what you ride and WHY

I ride street for the reason, that you can always find sumthing new to ride. And there is nothing more satifing then getting a really nice line down.

And street i find takes alot more skill then park.

Who cares what everyone rides, they ride it because they want to, is there any other reason?

And what's with the comment of street being more skilled than park? Stop being so 1 sided, there are other ways to the same goal.

Obviously he cares?
There's no harm in asking. No point in having a go at him.
He also stated that it was his opinion that street is more skilled than park. Doesn't mean everyone else thinks the same.

Personally I like street better for the only reason that theres usually no scooter/skater kids snaking you.

I try to ride a bit of both, it keeps the way you ride diverse etc. =]
Street is rad fun, but around where i live it is hard to find good spots, and security is always around bugging you =[
Parks are good because they are always there, and you cant get kicked out. It also gives you an opportunity to meet more riders than in just a 'private' street spot.
So yea, i enjoy different things about both, ride what/where you want too =]

I ride park because I just generally think its more fun:p. I'd rather spine, air etc. then grind, bunnyhop etc.

Please no one say anything negative about my opinion.

I prefer a bit of street, as it's not supposed to be ridden, and the joy of finding new stuff is second to none.
although, going to your local, learning shit, and bringing it to the streets is good. as is going to your local and knocking back brews all day. you know what i'm saying? ayheyheyhey?

I hear you cam. Did you ride after you knocked back some brews?

why no trails. IMO, there is nothing more fun that sessioning a set of trails, just flowing, possibly not even doing "tricks". Parks alot of fun. aslong as there is a nice hip.

street, also is fun. though there is bugger all around here.

spaz, riding street takes a different kind of skill than park, as for trails and any other discipline.

Trails in spring. big crew digging riding and drinking is pretty coooooool.

Both for me- park/street. I am buying some plegs soon and i learned to grind (sorta :p) the other day after riding pegless for ages so i guess maybe street. It depends on what I see that makes me go whoa! at the time, but has been park & street after no one could be bothered going to the trails

I agree i love riding dirt, street and park if its a good place to ride. I think every one should at least a ride a little of everything now and then.
i find a good day of riding is were you can some how do all 3 in one day if possible.
just my 2 cents

Park. Its way more fun. No security no people hassling you and no one getting in your way. Also love park because it has trannies no landing to flat

i like park better mainly because theres a lot of good stuff to ride in one spot, u get bored of doing one thing u just try something else. to do that in street is very time consuming. although i like street in movies, as in when theres all those awesome spots put together, if real life was actualy like the clips, and all the spots were within walking distance of eachother, well street would be sooooooo much better. but maybe im just biased coz i only know 2 good street spots (both are wall rides)

im a hundred percent with you ro(r)y

why limit your self to one style like street, park or dirt. i love riding all three because theres not all that much around, so i have to take what im offered rather than just letting a good riding oputunity just pass me by. you'll find that you can ride more often, instead of thinking what to do next if you only ride one of these styles. trails park's and rails.

i probably ride more park as if you go to a good park everything is there. i.e. you have rails, quarters, box jumps etc. but if you ride street there is a lot of transit riding in between spots.

and then theres the security you sometimes have to deal with when riding street, and thats always a pain.

personally i prefer riding quarters and dirt jumps as against grinding and hopping stuff.

and i agree with broz, i know alot of people who are good trails riders but suck at street.

I prefer park... the air time and just learning new tricks is awesome. But i do think that street involves a lot more creativity and imagination as you have to come up with something out of nothing.
cheers

Street for sure - It's just really fun. Always something new to try. Heaps of variations for a single spot.

Plus most of the other riding I do is MTB so Street is just something completely different.

I get a it bored of Park sessions after a while.
