Gday all,
just wondering if there's any riding in or near Bundeena. I'll be there on the weekend of the 16th and 17th of this month with family.
Cheers
hey mate. theres a lot of us just up the road out of bundeena near loftus where you may drive past on your way in. if you can get back up towards loftus from your place then we might be able to hook up some local trails. let us know

i go to bundeena fishing what are the tracks like down there are they xc trail or does it get extreme
bundeena is on the edge of the national parks. so the only track you will find around there will be XC ones. im pretty sure the only downhill tracks you will find will be back up through the loftus valley. dont actually live there though so i can only assume

There is a great XC trail ride that starts on Bundeena Drive and you ride down to Little Marley Beach.... Get some good air on the way down due to waterbars...
You can get a map from the National Parks Office which shows the tracks.
Enjoy

Irrespective of whether or not safety is an issue, these trails are illegal to ride. By riding them you don't do our cause (general trail advocacy etc) any favours. All it takes is one disgruntled walker to inform NPWS and there's another nail in the trail access coffin.
Oh and FFS, use punctuation.

Yeah what he said.
Also, a lot of the walking trails in that general area are often covered in really deep sand so its pretty crappy riding. I'd stick to the fire trails which are legal but also some of them are pretty rough so you can still find them technical and enjoyable.

forget that drive 40 minutes down the coast and ride the trails at Wollongong. there not all legal but at least you wont have to worry about walkers and the trails are pretty sweet.
Leave the National park to the nudists
LOL :D
