Yeah there is some good footage of the race on 'Seasons' i think. It looks Awsome.
ahhh, good old sam hill finishing his races in 12 seconds. good on ya sam;)
yea there is great footage of it in seasons, which i have on my psp:) but yea sam won last year and the local guys were pretty close to him. its a long race, and there are some gruelly up hill sections which most of the guys run up. so maybe there will be something on freecaster
cheers

Word on RideMonkey is that thats a new course record. So he beat Hill this year and Hill's time from last year.
Anyone if it was the same length course? any changes since last year?

FROM PINK BIKE:
Heard talk yesterday afternoon that Hill took a spectactular crash on dead dog....no confirmed sightings though. Q'nr was on fire and it all finally clicked for him....this is the run he has wanted for the last 4 years or so, and finally got it. Good on yah Nick, everyone knew you were capable all along, just had to get it together all in the same day. Morland won this race 3 times I think (or was it 2?) and then the 3rd last year and this year.....total domination. Phelps' result won't be official until the blood test comes back to prove he is in face a human being.....totally nuts and dominating the hard tail class for 3 or 4 years now. This year the entire hard tail class was on chromag bikes.....hmmmmmmm, looking for a good (Proven!) free ride or dh hard tail, there ya go. Saw video footage of Kovarik over the road gap, insanely fast and huge whip at the same time. Guy was on his game for sure. It was an exciting event to say the least. The night was topped off with some wasted Aussie chick grotestcly breaking her ankle in the beer garden, foot was at 45 degrees to her leg and the bones were almost poking out of the skin......ooops.

Dead dog is the very top bit. Unbelievably steep from the start and then gets steeper after the first corner. Loose and shale covered. It's a long track that is classic Canadian. Bit of everything. Drops, rocks etc.
Really good hill to ride and there are other tracks on it as well. Worth a visit.

Mt 7 at Golden BC
13minutes or so if you are good enough
Pros regularly comment that its crazy steep. COuple of big drops and a fair sized road gap. Little uphill hike a bike to top it off too.
Yes :)
