Above are raw stems just for a teaser, they are still a few weeks off!

Here it is... a zero rise 31.8 available in 35mm/50mm and can accept reducers for 25.4 Cross over and a 1.5 steerer version soon to follow. MSRP $125 available in late August from your local shop!

It shares the same sex appeal as the wedge stem but with a traditional rear pinch set up, a little lighter too at 160g for the 35mm and 184g for the 50mm version.

Just like the wedge stem it will command attention with it's clean lines.

And those speed holes went through some serious testing, guaranteed to make you look 30% faster!

Same colour as the current wedge stem, Black, Ti-Grey, Pink, Red, Bronze......I know the guys did a few wedge stems in Blue to see what they look like....so this could possibly be a colour out a bit later (it lookd pretty hot!). They never did powder coat colours in the wedge stem as the design of the wedge requires very tight tolerances and therefore had to be anodised....so we may see the pinch stem available in powder coat colours such as white, but I will check on that.

A boxxer direct mount stem isn't too far off either ;)

I ripped that stuff straight from the Straitline Blog (http://www.straitline.blogspot.com/) , but when I am at home tonight I have a bunch more photos that Greg has been showing off to me for a while, I think there are a few front on, but not with a faceplate I do not think.

The stem will use the same faceplate as the wedge stem (and use the same 25.4mm self locating custom shims for 25.4mm bars), the Boxxer direct mount coming out will also use the same faceplate etc.

Ok, so here are some more pics of the stem for you. These are an earlier prototype from a few weeks ago, so you will see that in the latest one (in the first post) they have shaved off even more material and got some more angles going on some surfaces, as well as having it polished.

Their idea wth this stem is that they wanted lots of chamfers so it glistens like a diamond once polished, bling bling!

Cheers,

Ken
