Good for offroad riding, long rides, when/where you need some support; but i wouldnt really recommend them for BMXing, unless you have mama' hands. Although im pretty sure they were designed for BMXing at first.

oury grips only belong on narrow handlebars on fixed gear bikes, and only sported in a loud colour.

Why don't you try them yourself i doubt their expensive, i hate pointless threads like this there only grips.

Oury is more common on mountain bikes.
BMX grips would more be something like Aaron Ross signature grips, Fly Rubens, Primo Stricker etc.
