I can draw still life well, but comics and the like I can't draw for shit! It was just an idea I had after seeing one of the Cyanide and Happiness comics and thought.... " MAN SAM HILL HAS HUGE EYEBROWS!"

Edit:
The white writing is more directed at those who say "Thats shit, cyanide and happiness did a comic like that a couple weeks ago!"

It's more a story-orientated style, but read it from the start and you'll get some lols. Especially if you work in a bike shop...

Yeah, I've read most of them, so good! I posted a few in the Road & Track forum. Some of them define me as a cyclist down to a tee.

It's more than C+E oriented, it's pretty much a straight ripoff of Matt's comic.

So when family guy makes fun of Mickey Mouse by imitation, its plagarism?
When adverts are imitated, copied or made fun of, its stealing ideas from somebody? He just used an idea for a good comic, and applied it to the MTB world. I certainly thought it was funny.

You have your head screwed on the wrong way. He is well aware that there is a comic out there similar to his. thats the whole fucking point!

As for the yehuda moon stuff, bike hypochondriac, and roadies are both classic. And bike ninja, because I routinely scare the crap out of people on my fixie.

Haha I was just about to say this as well. Plagiarism lol, get a clue. He made a comic based on something we all know and love, but made it relevant and funny to an MTB audience. well done I say. Without the c&h template and our knowledge of that cartoon it wouldn't have been as funny.

I see where smacks is coming from though. By putting the writing in white it almost makes it seem as though your trying to claim it as completely original, but added in a disclaimer just in case someone caught you out. This isn't how I see it just how others might. Make sense?

Good:
Simplicity, both artwork and subject.
The bike is just about perfect, any more detail would draw attention away from the joke/story.

Maybe not:
(and this is completely opinionated of course)
the branding on the top tube, I reckon 'a bike is a bike' is plenty, although it's pretty relevant in this case... hmm.

Definitely, It'd be much more polished, I just made it up yesterday and couldn't be bothered to fix up the bike.

So I'll try and make it once a week on a Friday. I'm just hoping it doesn't get old quickly.
