Does anyone think that the Kona Five o is a good bike? Im looking for something that i can rixe on short XC, as well as it meeting my needs of DJ and my agressive riding style. Ive got a budget of around 1500, so preferably hardtail. Thanks!!

Well the saquatch's frame angle turns into more of a dirt jumper but go the manik (i'm the guy that jack was talking about), i did so much crap on it and not 1 thing happened to it.

Well im obviously biased, but i would say get a Kona 5-0 :)
I love mine, raised forks to 160mm, got rid of cheesy front derailler and slapped on a guide, as well as some crank bros 5050x pedals and i have an awesome bike. Im going to replace the heavy minions with some high rollers and slap on a ghetto tubeless kit. That should drop her down half a kilo, and she is an absolute DH monster. Will tolerate a heap of abuse and can do pretty well every type of riding, including hucking but i dont think its the smartest thing to do on a HT. The geo is spot on, and if your worried about sizing im 6'1" and a medium fits nicely.
Dont worry about the bent top tube just treat it as any other bike and you wont notice a fine. I actually prefer it, it protects my nuts!
