I just bought one a few weeks ago.
I really doubt you'll find anyone selling one off, as they're very new.
I'd suggest, before the Aussie dollar becomes any more f**king worthless, getting onto a US site and getting one.
I got my remote Joplin (shipped) for $270.00.
DirtWorks list it at RRP $449.00...

I have the lever model (not remote)

I know another guy who has the remote model and sometimes they get sticky .... all depends on how much you squeeze the post with your clamp.

He has a few problems getting it to extend sometimes , mine is a bit sticky occasionally BUT as i am pulling up the lever , the seat comes up too .

It came standard on my bike and it's only about 5 rides old.
