portland(nsw) free ride( drops pics now up

well i live out at a small place near lithgow called Portland and have got some pretty crazy free ride drops there are a quite a big range of them running along this old cut out of a big rocky hill thing at pipers flat (5min drive out of Portland) going from about 10ft to about 40ft all have big down ramps. if any one is interested in coming out to give them a try just pm me will get pics of them tomorrow maybe. any more info just ask

there is also a road gap there and it is like a really big table top over a fire road

there is footage of Mick Hannah and the boys ripping it up in the first or second Clict DVD mag. (oh and a great bit of skinny smashing himself on the road gap)

Someone has some footage of Skinny, Luke Mouatt and Bram hucking some of the bigger stuff too.

Luke was the guy who developed the MTB action in the area back in the day and he hit the road gap smother than just about anyone.

it's not that hard to land my friend did one of the 10ft ones on a norco rival(it is a hard tail with 115mm travel forks)
i am thinking of stepping up to be a man and hit a few up my self this weekend

They look pretty cool, have to take a trip and hit them up one day. Rocks at the bottom (in the runout) dont look very nice though..
