Howdy Farkers,
I'm soon off for a couple of wks with the fam to the husky area- happy days are here again with lots of time to sharpen up for the scott & fling.
Question though: I can only take one of either roadie or mtb. I'm leaning to roadie as I'm mainly interested in getting k's in the legs (at least 40-50k loops). BUT, I'm a bit dubious about the roads in the area in terms of surface and shoulder/room for bikes. From my little bit of experience in the area there seems to be fair bit of traffic as well. PLUS, there doesn't seem to be anything much in the way of hills without going out the other side of nowra somewhere (dirt roads?).
Related q: the SCUM site has 'maintenance' issue with the where to ride page. Access issues? Or are they in negotiations re thier tracks at the moment?
I'd love some advice from people who know the area, thanks in advance.
