A few months back my mongoose ECX got pinched, last night the people who stole it rang up asking for the reward, the cops didnt like that too much. they had left it in the bush for 2 months! there was no pressure in the rear brake, they let ALL the air out of the rear shock, and locked off the pikes.

its good to hear you got it back. How did the cops find them after they called? you can not just leave us dangling with a juicy story like that.

well, a few of the guys friends had all said this guy had stolen it, but they all said he smashed it up and chucked it off a small cliff a few times. this was all about 3 months ago maybe longer. then, when i was at the snow with some mates. i got a txt from my mum saying, got news. call me.
so i did just that and she told me how they found my bike, they said how these people called up saying they found it, recognized it on the poster, and were wanting the $200 reward. so dad went round there and checked it out, identified it then left, all the while i was skiing in perisher.
then that night i got another text from my mum saying text me when you get the chance, re:bike.
i called up and mum said that my dad had called the cops, who went round there and picked up my bike, and my dad had picked it up from the cop shop.

the funny thing is i got to school with one of the guys who stole it, he has been very quiet recently... dunno y?

there was mold all down 1 side of the tyres and bike etc.
