Helmet sizing question (im not completely retarded)

Please bare with me - its a simple question.

I'm about to purchase a full face helmet. Now my dome measure's a shade over 61cm, but under 62cm.

So my question is; Do I wear a helmet sized 60-62cm or 62-64cm?

I know it seems like a simple thing but I wear my street helmet huge. I basically have to wear a bandana (folded ghetto style) to make it fit. I know it all sounds retarded but incase you haven't guessed, this shit is all new to me :eek:

This is indeed very good advice.

The internal shape of the helmet is as important as the measurement.

If it's not at least close to the shape of yer bonce, it ain't going to fit right.

You don't buy a helmet by choosing the one you like the look of best. You need tp try on as many as you can to get the best possible fit.

And if it doesn't fit, it won't work properly.

Forget online for helmet purchases.

Absolutely , helmets NEVER size the same , if you have a certain model , the same size in the same model wil fit the same , but all manufacturers are different , and they feel different by manufacturer.

ONLY buy online if you have tried the same model on in the shop and it fits perfectly .

Dont think because you are a LARGE in one you will be LARGE in all .
