I have a giant reign 3 2006 model with a manitou 3 way swinger and wondering if anyone can inform me on the size of the shock. From serching i found that it may be 200x50 can anyone shed some light on wether it is true or not. 2nd of all i was wondering wether the frame is able to run a air shock with a piggyback such as a dhx air (yes it will be the same size shock as the old one when i find out the sizes of it) if anyone has any information please post a reply as if will be much appreciated.

I've just put a Fox RP23 on my 06 Reign 3 and the measurements were;
Length: 197mm
Stroke: 50mm
Hardware-top: 30mm
Hardware-bottom: 40mm + 8mm diameter
Try tbsm.com.au they were helpful and fast getting me the new one.

Oh, and the frame won't allow you to run a coilover shock either.

Thanks thats a big help. so theres no way i can run a piggy back even if it flipped? Well if thats the case what options do i have for a rear shock i want something strong to take so bigger hits.

Edit: Which rockshox monarch is compadible, i had 2nd thoughts about marzochhi. Also can i get feedback on people who have run a monarch and would the be good over big jumps? Cause from what i've seen there suposibly xc,am shocks but i've seen them on plenty freeride rigs.http://www.sram.com/en/rockshox/rearsuspension/monarch/#tab1
