Amazon.com and shipping.

So, i ordered some books a week ago. They gave me an estimated date (about 32 days). I was blown away... 32 days?? give me a break

Staggering, how 2 books can take longer than a whole parcel of bike parts from a warehouse to come.

So my question, should i expect the books to come much sooner than their estimated arival date or should they arrive sooner? Anyone had any bad experiences with amazon?

Afaik, amazon isnt a warehouse, merely an online database of other shops items. You buy via amazon, but the stuff you buy may come from multiple places - hence the time.

Ive bought a few things from amazon, most items took about 2-3weeks.

Yup same thing happend to me. One book and they said 32 days, but turned out to be bout 20 if i can remember correctly.
